From 20 to 23th of April the Sofia Cup Chess Championship was held. 46 chess players from 7 countries - Israel, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Bulgaria took part in a competition. The chess tournament run under the "Swiss System" in 7 rounds (each one - 60 minutes). Chief judge was Radislav Atanasov (from National Sports Academi "Vasil Levski"). Assistant judges - Ivan Stoinov, Yordan Stoinov and Vetzislav Zahariev. It was organized with the support of Sofia Municipality, and under the patronage of the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova.
